Glenda is a TV/film writer who has been a coveted, quiet force in Hollywood for over a decade. She is currently a Co-Producer on NBC's KENAN, as well as developing a series with Taraji P. Henson's TPH Entertainment and Martin Lawrence's Runteldat Entertainment. Other recent credits include the Tiffany Haddish feature MYSTERY GIRL and the Kevin Hart drama TRUE STORY, both for Netflix, and a Nickelodeon pilot.

Glenda spent four years writing for Kevin Hart and his production company, HartBeat Productions, where she developed content across all platforms (film/television/digital) including the box office hit NIGHT SCHOOL and CBS's TKO. She was also a writer/producer for Kevin's VOD service, LOL Network, producing such series as MO FUNNY MO LAUGHS and THE DONORS. 

Before HartBeat, Glenda wrote for TV One’s BORN AGAIN VIRGIN, and BET’s REAL HUSBANDS OF HOLLYWOOD. Prior to that, she worked as a writers’ assistant/script coordinator for multiple series including SINGLE LADIES (VH1), BLACK JESUS (Adult Swim), and HEMLOCK GROVE (Netflix). She was also one half of BET’s in-house writing team with Writer/Executive Producer Warren Hutcherson, collaborating in the development and creation of ten original scripted series including three pilots, and the sitcom REED BETWEEN THE LINES. 

Glenda began her career as a script supervisor, working on a host of indie films in NYC and  Atlanta. 

A New York native and Duke University alum, Glenda lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son, immersed in spontaneous travel adventures and black girl magic, always #searchingfordaddie.
